Chuck Kerr is Creative Director at Entertainment Weekly in Los Angeles.

As the brand’s design leader, Chuck oversees all visuals for EW: digital covers, online, social media, podcasts, events, and the occasional magazine. He is a visual storyteller and conceptual thinker, and always keeps an eye on the big picture — while never losing sight of the smallest details.

He and his team collaborate with top brands in entertainment and tech, including Apple, Netflix, Google, Amazon Prime Video, Disney, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, Warner Bros., and HBO.

In 18 years of creative direction and design, Chuck has gained accolades from Society of Publication Designers, Society of News Design, American Society of Magazine Editors, Adweek, Communication Arts, Folio:, Los Angeles Press Club, City and Regional Magazine Association, Association of Alternative Newsmedia, and Coverjunkie. He is currently a Society of Publication Designers board member.

When not designing, he can be found behind his drum kit, at the Alamo Drafthouse, or searching for authentic Tex-Mex in LA.
